The world is a mist. And then the world is
minute and vast and clear. The tide
is higher or lower. He couldn’t tell you which.

📍Jökulsárlón, Iceland
This is the sight that greeted us as we arrived at Jokulsarlon at 11:30pm. Because of the almost polar location of Iceland, sunlight can illuminate the landscape for 22-23 hours a day, with the sun barely crossing the horizon.

- Comment on Gustav Klimt:
The Bride (unfinished), 1917/18
“The first presentation of drawings along with the extant sketchbook and the painting The Bride from the collection of the Klimt Foundation allows visitors to delve directly into the fantasies and visions of this exceptional artist. The painting further affords scope for new interpretations and, through its Expressionist accents, links Gustav Klimt as a pioneer of modernism in Austria with his successors Oskar Kokoschka and Egon Schiele,” according to the exhibition’s curator Sandra Tretter (arthistorynewsreport).

📍Grand Teton, United States
I took a road trip from Idaho to the Grand Tetons and slept in my car to wake up for this beautiful blue hour right before sunrise. I didn’t need to edit any colors really it was just as cool blue as I saw. I was jumping out of my skin experiencing this range for the first time, tired, and hungry and hoping to run into a few Moose.
